The Euro is rising sharply against the yen for the second day in a row. EUR/JPY trades above 137.00 for the first time since August 13. The pair is getting closer to 139.20 which is the highest price for the year and also to the psychological area of 140.00. Currently it trades at 137.20, 0.45% above today’s opening price. The pair peaked a few minutes ago at 137.23, reaching a fresh 2-month high.

On the upside the next resistance lies at 138.00 and above at 139.20. To the downside the Euro could find support at 136.15.

EUR/JPY has risen more than 800 pips since the beginning of October when it fell to 129.10 posting a 2-month low.
